How to use this page
Amazon's Black Friday week typically starts around 20 November and runs through Cyber Monday (30 November 2026). We do not print prices because they change hourly; each category below links to our guide, where every product shows its running cost and a button to the live Amazon price. Judge a deal by the price plus a winter of running it.
Electric heaters
Heaters are discounted every year because they sell in volume. Watch the Dreo 316 (1.5 kW, the best-reviewed), the De'Longhi Dragon 4 oil radiator and the VonHaus 11-fin. Remember that per hour a 1.5 kW heater costs 39.5p and a 2.5 kW one 65.8p whatever the discount; buy the lowest wattage that suits the room. Electric heater guide →
Electric blankets and heated throws
The cheapest comfort in this list and the most reliable Black Friday discount: Silentnight Comfort Control under-blankets and the Mia&Coco and Dreamland throws are routinely cut. At 1.6–3.9p an hour, any of them pays for itself against a heater in a week. Electric blanket guide →
Bean-to-cup coffee machines
The classic Black Friday big-ticket buy. De'Longhi Magnifica Start / Magnifica S and Philips 2200 / 3300 LatteGo are the models that drop every year; the Philips 5400 and the De'Longhi Rivelia less often. Electricity is under 1p a cup, so choose on the milk system and the grinder, not on wattage. Coffee machine guide →
Robot vacuums
Robot vacuums carry the largest Black Friday discounts of any category here — last year's flagships often drop by a third. The eufy Omni C20 and Roborock QV 35S are the mid-range picks; the Tapo RV30 Max Plus is the budget pick. Budget £40–£90 a year for bags, filters and pads whichever you buy. Robot vacuum guide →
Plug-in solar
New this year: plug-in solar became legal in Great Britain on 27 August 2026, so this is the first Black Friday with compliant kits on sale. Only buy a kit that is on the ENA Type Test Register (UKSOL, EcoFlow STREAM registered variants, Modular Solar). A £600 kit saving £110 a year pays back in about five years. Plug-in solar guide →
Three rules for the week
- Check the price history. Amazon's 'was' price is not always the price it sold at last month; the listing's price graph on third-party trackers is.
- Add the running cost. A heater at 4 hours a day costs £47–£79 a month at 1.5–2.5 kW; a coffee machine £6 a year; a blanket £8 a month.
- Prefer the proven model over the new one. Black Friday is when last year's model is cheapest and its reviews are longest.
