Privacy policy

PickWatt is a static website. We have no accounts, no newsletter and no comment system. This page explains the little that is collected.

Who is responsible

ELEVA ONLINE LTDA, Rua Permínio Mendonça de Souza 78, Itaipu, Niterói – RJ, 24346-052, Brazil. Contact: hofficebr@gmail.com. Responsible person: André Pires de Carvalho Albuquerque Forjaz.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. from its global network. Cloudflare processes connection data (IP address, request headers) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not keep server logs ourselves.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation to count visits and see which pages are read. Google may set cookies and process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can block analytics with a browser extension or by disabling cookies; the site works identically without it. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts

Pages load the Sora and Inter typefaces from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers containing your IP address. The site remains readable if that request is blocked.

Amazon links

Links to Amazon carry an affiliate tag. When you click, Amazon sets its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us; Amazon's privacy notice applies on its site. We receive no personal data about you from Amazon — only aggregate statistics about clicks and orders.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal data we hold, object to processing, and complain to a supervisory authority (the ICO in the UK, or the authority of your German state). Since we hold no personal data beyond what analytics collects in anonymised form, most requests can be answered by confirming that. Email the address above.

Changes

This policy was last updated on 2 October 2026 and will be updated if the site starts collecting anything new.
